A Chicago real estate firm has purchased its second suburban office building since September and its fifth in the past two years, making it one of the biggest local bettors that workplaces outside the city will thrive coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm paid $305 million in 2016 for 1K Fulton - home of Google's Midwest headquarters in Fulton Market - and is also part of a joint venture that paid $358 million the same year for the 35-story office building at 321 N.
