Local Abstract: [Publisher, Russian] Изучить эффективность лечения обострения хронического туботимпанального гнойного среднего отита препаратом Отофа с действующим веществом рифамицин (Rifamycin). [Publisher, Russian] Проведен ретроспективный анализ 37 историй болезни пациентов, обратившихся в клинику оториноларингологии с диагнозом «обострение хронического гнойного туботимпанального среднего отита» в период с января 2019 г. по декабрь 2019 г. [Publisher, Russian] У пациентов, получающих местно препарат Отофа (действующее вещество — рифамицин), уже к 3-му дню терапии было отмечено купирование таких симптомов, как пульсирующий шум и боль, а также снижение выраженности отореи к 5-му дню терапии. [Publisher, Russian] Исследование показало высокую клиническую эффективность ушных капель Отофа, содержащих антибиотик рифамицин.

The Purpose of the Work: Is to study the efficacy of treatment of exacerbation of chronic tubotympanic purulent otitis media with Otofa drug with the active substance Rifamycin.
Material and Methods: Performed a retrospective analysis of 37 medical histories of patients who applied to the otorhinolaryngology clinic with a diagnosis of exacerbation of chronic purulent tubotympanic otitis media in the period from January 2019 to December 2019.
Results: Noted relief of symptoms such as throbbing noise and pain in patients receiving the topical Otofa drug (active ingredient Rifamycin) by the 3th day of therapy. Otofa also reduced otorrhea by the 5th day of therapy.
Conclusion: The study showed the high clinical efficacy of Otofa ear drops containing the Rifamycin antibiotic.
