He was in charge of the delivery of NIHR Urgent Public Health COVID-19 Studies (including the RECOVERY trial) in an NHS hospital trust (Bradford Royal Infirmary and the Bradford Institute for Health Research). CC is principal investigator for the CoCAT trial (funded by the DHSC and UKRI mental health programme) and co-investigator for the SPARKLE trial and Co-SPACE study (both funded by the UKRI COVID-19 responsive mode).
