Abstract (English):: Father Lagrange has dedicated his life to the study of the Bible for the salvation of souls. For fifty years, he studied and commented on the Word of God at the École Biblique in Jerusalem, so as to nourish the faith of believers destabilized by criticism of the supernatural status of the Holy Scriptures. As a mystic, he accompanied his scientific work with a life of an intense prayer. Faithful in hardship, he always remained humble and obedient to the Church. His current beatification process aims to present him as a model in search of the Truth revealed through science and faith. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
