We explore a radially polarized vortex beam with broken axial symmetry under tight focusing conditions. The beam's three mutually orthogonal polarization components (radial, azimuthal, and longitudinal) are all rotated by an angle of π/2 with respect to the input field in the focal plane. We validate this effect experimentally. Finally, we prove that this effect can be used to transport nanoparticles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
