Abstract (English):
Nowadays, storytelling is about attaching value to a brand, positioning products, optimizing digital identities, engaging audiences on initiatives and projects. Those who can cope with various life challenges and markets through a story will survive, as many scholars of the so-called Literary Darwinism demonstrate. But what does telling mean in these terms? Is it possible that narrative is a fundamental competitive tool, not only for business purposes but also from a social and anthropological point of view? This paper analyses the deep implications that narrative processes are generating in our society, critically considering the ambivalent and problematic aspects brought by narrative, when it becomes a meta-communication platform.
