Abstract (English):
Many traffic accident analysis results show that the highway landscape has a significant influence on driver performance and mental health. By analysis of the literature published over the last 10 years, we concluded that green landscape (e.g., greenness, color, spatial characteristics, and so on) along the highway have a significant influence on drivers' information perception, decision making, driving operation, and acute or chronic mental health status. In addition, it was found that the research methods in this field have shifted from qualitative research to quantitative research, and from theoretical research to experimental research. The focus of research has also gradually shifted from concern with the landscape ontology to the relationship between the driver and the driver; however, the research content is fragmented and there is not enough depth to previous studies. The objective of the present study was to determine and support the correct development of the highway environment in China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
