A case study explores the experiences of a woman offered a job with large humanitarian aid organization in which she was largely ignored during what should have been her onboarding experience and she found her job duties were significantly different than what had been promised during her being recruited and interviewed. Issues considered include her relationship with her manager, her office being newly opened, and organizational structure. Two experts give their differing advice on the fictitious situation, whether she should stay or go.
