Abstract (English):
This research was carried out to make an inference about school managers' power sources, school culture, and psychological climate, which are thought to affect psychological empowerment will be emphasized. This study was designed and conducted according to the correlation research pattern to test the proposed conceptual model; and, this model has been tested with the Structural Equation Model (SEM). 358 teachers (252 women and 97 men) participated in the study. Then to evaluate the model γ² (Chi-square), γ²/df ratio (Chi-square/degree of freedom), SRMR (Standardized root mean square residual), GFI (Goodness-of-fit index), AGFI (Adjusted goodness-of-fit index), NFI (Normed Fit Index), TLI (Turker-Lewis Index), CFI (Comparative Fit Index) and RMSEA (Root mean square error of approximation) are examined. According to the results, some hypotheses have been accepted but some of them not. H1 -School principal's power sources affect psychological empowermentand H2 -Power sources affect the psychological climate- have been rejected. However H3 -School culture has an impact on its psychological climate-, H4 -Power sources affect school culture-, H5 -Psychological climate affects psychological empowermentand H6 -School culture affects psychological empowerment- has been accepted.
