Nine patients received RBC with Hb between 60-69 g/L, 13 patients received RBC with Hb between 70-79 g/L, four patients received RBC with Hb between 80-89 g/L and five patients received RBC with Hb between 90-100 g/L. 22 patients transfused with a Hb less than 80 g/L were according to recommended guidelines; seven patients received RBC inappropriately.
