Cohorting Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) patients is a strategy which has not been thoroughly evaluated. Patients treated in the CIU showed lower mortality rates and antibiotic usage; however, a higher recurrence rate was reported. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
