The Constitution of Indonesia states that every person has the right to live in a good and in a healthy environment as stated in the Human Rights, especially that which was written in Indonesia's 1945 Constitution. The state's roles and responsibilities, as well as the people's participation in managing and in preserving the environment is manifested in Indonesia as an Ecocracic State which is guaranteed constitutionally. The state, in its relations with the human rights, have the obligation to respect, to protect, and to fulfill; yet each citizen also has the obligation to participate and to work together in solving the various environmental problems for the life today, and life of the future generations.
