This article is devoted to the problem of understanding the regime of self-isolation as a factor in the deprivation effect on the social health of the Russian population, limiting social life. Under the threat of a coronavirus pandemic as a result of restrictions, deformations or terminations of social contacts and interactions that are significant for various groups of the population, as well as because of self-isolation, social deprivation occurs, which has a negative impact on the social health of the population.
