Aim: To identify the association of demographic, clinical and therapeutic management aspects with the outcome of patients diagnosed with sepsis in a hospital emergency. Method: retrospective documentary, 312 records of septic patients, descriptive analysis, comparisons of categorical data were used using Chi-square or Fisher's exact tests, with Monte Carlo correction.
