The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest nation on the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered on the north by Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait; on the east by Qatar, with the island nation of Bahrain lying off its eastern shore in the Persian Gulf; on the southeast by the United Arab Emirates and Oman; and on the south by Yemen.
