The article presents the rebuilding efforts of family owned company Lego group, and an exclusive look inside the company's top secret Future Lab. The highly ambitious R&D team of Future Lab is charged with creating technologically enhanced play experiences for kids. The Future lab relies on an intense week of brainstorming, mid-ideation and 24-hour hackathon sessions which lead to greater ideas. Jørgen Vig Knudstorp CEO of the Lego Group states that there is lot to learn from the innovative and real-design thinking ways of Future Lab. The company recently moved into markets of Europe, North America and Asia. Also included are Lego's efforts to attract girls to the brand with a line called Friends, and the boy-focused lines like Ninjago and Chima. Some of the lines like Lego Mindstorms, Life of George and Fusion are included.
