BECOMING A LEARNING ORGANIZATION.

The article discusses the capabilities and characteristics of U.S. independent schools that enable innovation in their organization. Topics discussed include an Innovation Task Force launched by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to explore innovation in schools, schools that nurture education including Paris Episcopal School in Texas and The Children's School and The Lovett School in Georgia, and the schools' commitment to become open-minded learning organizations.
