The 1919 Stanley Cup finals series between the Montreal Canadiens and Seattle Metropolitans was tied 2 - 2 - 1 when players on both teams showed symptoms of the Spanish flu. Banned Bonds In 2015, Barry Bonds filed (and eventually lost) a grievance against Major League Baseball, claiming its 30 teams had colluded to exclude him from baseball following the 2007 season.
