However, I have a few more suggestions on how the church can improve its LGBTQ ministry: Recognize Pride Month in parish communications, explicitly state on the parish website and in bulletins that LGBTQ people and their spouses and families are welcome to participate in parish life, and stop the discriminatory firings of LGBTQ parish staff.
