Born: April 5, 1989 Occupation: Curler A competitive curler since childhood, Canadian skip - or team captain - Rachel Homan came to love the sport for many reasons, including the level of focus and control demanded of its players. Although the makeup of her team shifted over the years, Homan credited the collaborative nature of curling and the strong relationships she formed with her teammates as crucial to Team Homan's success. Although Team Homan did not win a medal during its first Scotties competition, Homan and her teammates succeeded in progressing to the bronze medal game, further demonstrating themselves to be viable competitors on the national stage. 2019 AND 2020 Following her return from South Korea, Homan continued to compete with her team on the Grand Slam circuit as well as in Team Homan's typical array of provincial and national competitions.
