Biological Parents Choose Adoptive Parents: The Use of Profiles in Adoption.

The article presents information on a study related to opportunities of biological parents to select adoptive parents for their children from three agency-selected profiles in the U.S. This profile program that was introduced in 1985, allows biological parents to choose two profiles out of three that was chosen from a pool of foster home care services and accepted by adoption workers. The two profiles that were chosen by the biological parents would be rated as preferred one and alternative for convenience of adpotion.
