Associate dean Rayman Solomon added that a number of students are very attracted to working in public interest jobs. As the law firm market gets tighter, people have to explore other options. Some placement officers see a snowball effect occurring after students return from summers spent working with the public sector or government. Christina Weinmann, assistant director of career counseling, says students are coming back from a summer working at government agencies and they are bubbling with excitement.
