Critical reflection on a summer global health research internship: The need for education on global development paradigms in medical schools.

The article presents the authors' accounts and opinions regarding their participation in a health research internship in South Africa, focusing on the tuberculosis (TB) epidemic of the country and the role of medical schools in addressing it.
