She has 18 years of service in Pediatric Case Management. Keisia is Certified Person-Centered Thinking Trainer and Certified Managed Care Registered Nurse. Her education includes a master's degree in Nursing Education, and bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Business Administration. She is currently completing her doctorate in Nursing Leadership at The University of Texas at Tyler. In addition, Keisia serves on the Advisory Board for the Texas Council on Consumer Direction and the Policy Council for Children and Families appointed by the Health and Human Services Commissioner of Texas. Keisia is a mother, wife, friend, advocate, educator, and change agent who is committed to ensuring a proactive experience with patients. Keisia believes her personal and professional experiences afford her the opportunity to advocate that patients receive 'better plans, not better paper.'
