A tradition is a belief, practice, or way of behaving or acting that is shared and passed down through generations. While new traditions can be created at any time, traditions are those beliefs and practices that are repeated and shared until they become an established part of the family or culture. Traditions play an important part in creating unity in the group and strengthening continuity between generations.
